    Children’s Challenges in the Hub!

Addingham children are invited to enter 2 competitions in the Hub.

During the whole of November, we are running a competition to test everyone’s  knowledge of our village green spaces – it’s harder than it looks to find them on the Plan!  So tricky, that adults are welcome to enter too; anyone who feels they can take on the children anyway.  We challenge you to Find the Fields!

In December, the display in the Hub (with thanks to Totally Locally) will feature Christmas markets in years gone by.  We will also have a display of children’s Christmas artwork – so, here’s the challenge:

From now until 6 December, Addingham children can send in their pictures to enter into our competition.  The theme is “My special Addingham Christmas”.  Entries will be accepted into 3 classes – pre-school, KS1 and KS2.  Pre-school children are welcome to colour in Christmas pictures – choose your own or come in to the Hub and see what we’ve got here.  Primary school children can design their own pictures – just use your imagination!

    Closing date for entries:

Find the Fields! – 29 November

My Special Addingham Christmas! – 6 December

The entries for both competitions  will be judged by the Chairman of the Council in the afternoon on Friday 6 December in the Hub.  The winning entrants for the picture competition will be displayed from 7 December.
